The REACH Program represents the Fire District’s commitment to proactive community outreach and resident support. The program is designed to identify and assist individuals who may be experiencing challenges that impact their safety, health, or overall well-being. By recognizing concerns early and connecting residents with appropriate services, the Fire District aims to address underlying issues prior to emergencies, or to prevent another emergency.
Recognize
Identify early warning signs and/or emerging needs among residents through observations on emergency or service calls, call data, or external referrals.
Engage
Build trust through respectful and meaningful engagement with residents, ensuring their concerns are heard and understood.
Act
Develop and implement appropriate strategies to address identified needs, including individualized support plans when necessary.
Connect
Connect residents with community partners, social service agencies, healthcare providers, and other resources applicable to their needs to ensure they receive appropriate assistance and ongoing support.
Help
Provide continued guidance, follow-up, and support to residents, reinforcing the Fire District’s role as a trusted resource within the community.
