Putting combustibles too close to a heat source is a leading cause of structure fires. CFPD encourages you to put to practice these safety tips to reduce the risk of starting a fire.
Keep at least three feet of clearance between a heating source and anything combustible.
Do not store combustible materials in closed areas or near a heat source.
