Station tours are available at either of our stations.
Station 1 -
801 S. Midlothian Road
Mundelein, IL 60060
Station 2 -
600 N. Deerpath Drive
Vernon Hills, IL 60061
Touch-A-Truck events are scheduled at a location of your choosing (within district limits)
Please note, the engines and or ambulances that visit are in-service vehicles and personnel.
As such, if a call comes in, they will need to leave promptly. This also applies to station tours in many cases.
This may interrupt the scheduled activity.
CFPD does as much as we can on our end to make events possible but responding to emergency calls is our highest priority.
Guidelines: we cannot accommodate fire engine visits for any birthday parties. However, we are happy to have you at the fire station for a visit in celebration of a birthday!
Spots are limited to 30 minute slots between 7am and 12pm and 1pm-3:30pm.
Please select your preferred time of day (AM or PM), then state the desired 30-minute slot.
Time slots are not guaranteed until you have been contacted.
