Thank you for your interest in scheduling a training, event, or special request with Countryside Fire Protection District. We are happy to support our community and do our best to accommodate requests for groups within our Fire District. To ensure the highest-quality experience and help avoid scheduling conflicts, we kindly ask that requests be submitted with adequate advance notice—preferably 3–4 weeks. While we strive to attend events and provide trainings whenever possible, please understand that not all requests can be fulfilled. Additionally, we can only fulfill requests within our Fire District. Not sure if your group or organization is in our district? Visit our Map HERE.
CFPD offers several options to train community members in CPR/AED and First Aid including Heartsaver CPR AED, Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or simply a non-certification CPR/AED overview presentation.
For individuals looking to get CPR certified, please visit our CPR Registration Site (Monthly CPR registration site)
For private classes for businesses or groups, please complete the CPR Group Class Request Form (Business CPR registration form)
If your group is not looking for a formal certification course, please complete the Special Request Form (special request form)
CFPD hosts station tours and is able to come to your in-District location for a fire engine show and tell or a touch-a-truck.
Station tours are available at either of our stations.
Station 1 -
801 S. Midlothian Road
Mundelein, IL 60060
Station 2 -
600 N. Deerpath Drive
Vernon Hills, IL 60061
Touch-A-Truck events are scheduled at a location of your choosing (within district limits)
Please note, the engines and or ambulances that visit are in-service vehicles and personnel.
As such, if a call comes in, they will need to leave promptly. This also applies to station tours in many cases.
This may interrupt the scheduled activity.
CFPD does as much as we can on our end to make events possible but responding to emergency calls is our highest priority.
Guidelines: we cannot accommodate fire engine visits for any birthday parties. However, we are happy to have you at the fire station for a visit in celebration of a birthday!
Spots are limited to 30 minute slots between 7am and 12pm and 1pm-3:30pm.
Please select your preferred time of day (AM or PM), then state the desired 30-minute slot.
