Countryside Fire Protection District would like to welcome K-5th grade students and their parents to come and join us for an evening full of fun and excitement as we kick off our first, “A Night at the Fire Station” Event on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Station No. 1 (801 S. Midlothian Rd., Mundelein, IL) from 5:30 pm – 8 pm.
Through this event, it is CFPD’s desire to demonstrate and teach children the importance of preventing fires and how to handle injuries and other emergency situations by watching some fire safety videos. In addition, there will be several demonstrations and fun-filled activities for all to take part in.
The admission fee for this fundraising event will be $10.00 per person. As part of the admission fee, snacks will also be provided. Payment can be made at the door the day of the event (cash/check only). SPECIAL NOTE: All proceeds for this event will go towards future CFPD’s life & fire safety education programs.
Parents may accompany child to event; however, if the parent believes their child (under the age of 10) is prepared to be alone, they are welcome to participate individually.
We would appreciate you calling our office at (847) 367-5511 prior to the event date to RSVP. You may also RSVP via email to: firstname.lastname@example.org confirming the number of people attending, so our department members can plan accordingly.
