From the Fire Chief

As the Fire Chief of the Countryside Fire Protection District, I am proud and honored to have the opportunity of being at the helm of this great organization and serving you in the area where I grew up.

The Countryside Fire Protection District has established a strong foundation through strategic planning and the accreditation process. We meet the challenges of our mission by taking a proactive approach to providing emergency response and prevention activities.

The District is committed to providing nice, highly trained, and professional first responders to our customers. This is made possible through the dedication of our support staff and career and part-time firefighters as well as effective automatic aid agreements with our neighboring agencies. Through these devoted men and women, we constantly strive to make the Countryside Fire Protection District a safer place to live, work, visit, and raise families.

On behalf of the trustees, officers, firefighters and staff, thank you for the privilege of serving you and for your continued support.

Please feel free to contact me at (847) 367-5511 or jsteingart@countrysidefire.com.

Divisions

To better serve its customers and manage its operations, the Countryside Fire Protection District has divided its functional areas into divisions, each with specific responsibilities. While personnel are generally assigned to a particular division, the Countryside team is multi-disciplinary and individuals often work in more than one division.
