National Preparedness Month 2011

The Countryside Fire District supports National Preparedness Month held annually each September to increase public awareness about emergency preparedness. With this being the 10th anniversary of 9-11, this year's theme is: "A Time to Remember. A Time to Prepare." Countryside Fire asks residents to have an emergency supply kit, make a family emergency plan, be informed about emergencies and their appropriate responses, and get involved in community efforts such as Citizen Corps.

Residents can call the District at (847) 367-5511, use the Contact Us link in the header, or go to the following sites for more preparedness information.
